Scanning workshop

We're very guilty of spending a few too many hours at our computer screens. So Tom, Ian and I absolutely loved getting out of the office for a couple of days of ultrasound in practice!

We spent 2 days with Archana Schoeneman and some very lovely volunteers (thank you all!) getting to grips with the scanning process. We've spent a lot of time working with ultrasound imagery through a data lens and found it incredibly useful to experience live how artefacts affect our images, along with the wider context around their capture.

This whole experience was enabled by the portable technologies of Clarius Mobile Health and EchoNous portable ultrasound systems. Huge thank you to Dr Hans and David Thomas at EchoNous for allowing us to borrow these systems for our learning and of course to Archana for joining us in Newcastle sharing all her expertise!
