Well I had a great time at ClimbUK26 this week! It's probably the broadest and largest event we've been to. We're raising our seed round of investment now, and so seeing how others do it across lots of industries was super interesting.

I met loads of great people, and owe loads of emails, so bear with me and i'll be in touch soon! I had such amazing feedback on what we're building here, and heard so many stories of how endometriosis had affected people. Sometimes we get a bit too close to the day to day challenges here to step back and see the overall benefit, so it was lovely to be reminded a LOT of times over the 2 days!

Highlights were a last minute invite to pitch Revela alongside great pitches from Gray Kueberuwa, Amin Fathi, David Coe and Richard Marais on the ClimbHealth Stage - Molly Jowsey and I generally have a rule of 'Yes!' for any opportunities, but 20mins to write a 7min pitch was extra exciting here!

PXN Ventures North Of England breakfast party and 1 min pitches was great fun, fantastic to catch up with Elizabeth Young, Ben Davies, Jason Crispin and meet loads of new people there.

Then I joined an excellent Bionow panel with Jen Taylor, Richard Hall, Nigel Sansom and brilliantly hosted by Wayne Elliott to discuss what we think the NHS could learn from thinking like a start-up. We had a load of good feedback which was great to hear.

Meeting Danielle Phillips and learning about great ambitious work of the North East combined Authority team to give the area a huge boost made me consciously name drop 'Newcastle based start-up' into every conversation I had afterwards.
